KAJANG, Mar: The former Chief Minister of Selangor, Tan Sri Muhammad Muhd Taib, asked voters in Kajang to give a clear signal to BN by improving the majority of votes in the Kajang by-election on 23 March.
Speaking at the launch of the Kajang by-election PAS Machinery Launch in Taman Jenaris last night, the former Vice-President of Umno said that the Kajang by-election is important as a field to return a healthy democracy.
“If possible, let this time’s majority explode. Let the BN candidate lose her deposit,” he said.
The Deputy Chairman of the PAS Information and Media Council, said that the contest is not happening on a fair playing field due to limitations and restrictions in various forms against Pakatan .
“Previously, when I was in Umno, my face was in the newspaper every day. Now that I’m in PAS, support KR and DAP, I know what’s the punishment. Blocked in any way possible.
“Do not restrict, this is not the 50s.The people are smarter, they have tastes.
“I was in Umno for a long time. Umno was previously, but now I see that Umno is not good anymore. All those who are good in Umno are now supporting Pakatan Rakyat,” he said.
