SHAH ALAM, 7 Mar: Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said that the decision of the Putrajaya Court of Appeal regarding the Sodomy II case is a dark episode in the country’s judicial institution.
The Chief Minister of Selangor is disappointed with the court’s decision to re-imprison the Selangor State Economic Advisor, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
“Another dark episode for the country’s judicial institution. May Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah and her family be patient in relation to this trial and tribulation,” he said through his Twitter this evening.
Khalid and Anwar have a continued close relationship when they fought together for the people through Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR).
The two also played an important role when Khalid was appointed as the Election Machinery Director for the Kajang by-election, to be contested by Anwar.
