CM: Do Not Speculate Crew, Passengers of MH370

SHAH ALAM, 13 Mar: The Selangor Government hopes that the people will not speculate on any of the crew members or passengers because it will only make it difficult for their families.

Instead, the Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, said that the people should give moral support to their family members to remain steadfast and patient in facing this test.

“Pray that the rescue operation is carried out smoothly and is completed as soon as possible,” he said in a press statement this evening.

He is saddened by recent developments on the Malaysia Airlines MH370 aircraft, which was carrying 239 passengers, including the crew, which is suspected to have been hijacked.

“We pray for the safety and well-being of the passengers and crew members, and hope that the search and rescue mission will be successful,” he said.

Abdul Khalid said that the government and people of Selangor thanks the Malaysian security personnel and the 13 countries involved in the search and rescue operation.

AT the same time, he said that the Selangor Government asks all mosques and suraus in the state to hold prayers for the search and rescue operation to be carried out smoothly.
