Anwar: Tony Abbot Transparent in Presenting MH370 Information in Parliament, Najib?

KUALA LUMPUR, 21 Mar: The Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) de facto leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, has slammed those who have accused him of politicising the issue of the missing Malaysia Airlines System (MAS) MH370 aircraft, since 7 March.

Anwar also slammed the Barisan Nasional (BN) leadership in handling the issue of the missing aircraft that, until now, is still deadlocked.

Anwar said that foreign media are current lining up to interview him because he is frustrated with the management of the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, and the cabinet, which he claims to have failed in providing answers and information to the media on the case.

“They (BN) were angry when I was interviewed. They said who is Anwar? But everyone wants information in the MH370.

“The Prime Minister of Australia, Tony Abbott, immediately presented information upon receiving it in Parliament. This is in contrast with the Malaysian Prime Minister,” he said in a speech during the Kajang by-election campaign, here at Taman Mewah yesterday.

Citing Keadilan Daily, the Member of Parliament for Permatang Pauh said this in reference to the Parliament’s refusal to debate the MH370 issue and the briefing session which only involved BN Members of Parliament at Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral the day before.
