SHAH ALAM, 27 Mar: The Selangor Government organised a Yassin and Tahlil Reading ceremony to remember the victims of the MAS MH370 plane crash last night.
The event which was held at the State Mosque in Shah Alam was also attended by the Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim.
The event began after the Maghrib prayer which was also attended by a congregation of about 200 people.
The Yassin and Tahlil reading was led by the Selangor State Mosque Imam Besar, Ustaz Ahmad Mustafa Mohd Sidin.
Prior to that, after Abdul Khalid chaired the Selangor State Government Executive Council Meeting, said that the State Government will study the form of welfare assistance that can be extended to the families of the passengers and crew of the unfortunate flight.
“The State Government is planning to study its welfare assistance, especially for the crew of MH370 who were from Selangor.
“However, at this time, we have to give enough space to the families involved and we want them to know that we are with them.” he said.
