PETALING JAYA, 16 May: The PKR de facto leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, said that PKR will not protect individuals who caused trouble at the election recently.
Anwar said that there is a difference between the Election Commission (EC), which was allegedly involved in fraud with Umno.
“The PKR Election 2014 Committee is not involved and will not cover up fraud,” said Anwar during a press conference at the PKR headquarters.
Also at the press conference were the three candidates for PKR Deputy President, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, Azmin Ali and Datuk Saifuddin Nasution.
“We have taken decisive action, including suspending and sacking members found to be involved in fraud and causing chaos.
“For unclear cases, the Disciplinary Committee will take time to investigate,” said Anwar.
