At the fourth place is the Member of Parliament for Bukit Katil, SHamsul Iskandar Mojd Akin, who received 9,718 votes, followed by Baru Bian, who received 9,286 votes.

A total of 14 candidates tried their luck to grab the position of Vice President in the PKR election this time.

The results, however, do not include the amount of votes at 27 branches that are still pending.

The official results will be published on the official PKR election website today.

On May 7, the Central Election Committee (CEC) announced that the polling at 17 branches had to be re-held because of issues of ballot manipulation involving the top leaders of the party.

It involved four branches in Terenggany (Setiu, Kuala Nerus, Kemaman, Dungun) and one each at the two branches in Pahang (Paya Besar, Jerantut), Johor (Pengerang, Tenggara); Sarawak (Batang Sadong, Kapit) and Sabah (Tenom dan Keningau).

The affected branches were supposed to hold the polling again on May 17.

The CEC announced that four more branches, Tawau and Papar in Sabah, Bukit Katil (Malacca) and Sungai Petani (Kedah) will hold a re-election on a date yet to be fixed.

On May 11, the CEC announced that the election at the branches in Kota Raja, Kuala Selangor, Subang, Hulu Langat, Sabak Bernam, Kuala Langat, Sepang, Klang and Selayang had to be suspended.
