MBI restructures subsidiary companies board of directors starting with KSSB, PNSB

SUBANG JAYA, 9 July: The restructuring of the board of directors for State Government subsidiary companies will be done to improve the performance of other agencies, in addition to dropping unproductive workers.

The Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, said that the move is also to review performances, including that of government-linked companies (GLCs).

He stressed that the review is only done if it is necessary to improve any company and does not involve companies that show good performance.

“We will continue to monitor the performance of GLCs that are part of the state’s assets and resources. We also need to focus on management and the representation of the management.
