KLANG, 6 Aug: The Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, held a surprise visit to a tire storage centre at the Jalan Lumu Industrial Area following complaints of dengue cases at the location.
A survey at the premises found that there were piles of tires outside the premises which is used as a storage.
Abdul Khalid spent about 15 minutes to personally see the conditions of the premises.
In his visit, he said that an alternative measure needs to be taken to assist the premises as the State Government practices a business-friendly concept.
“There must be emphasis on the cleanliness of the area so that dengue can be reduced more efficiently,” he said.
