SHAH ALAM, 20 Sept: Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim apologised to everyone for not being able to comment or give any statement regarding the position of the new Chief Minister of Selangor.
Instead, he said that it will only be done once the Palace makes an announcement on the appointment officially.
“Sorry, I cannot comment regarding the position of Chief Minister until the Palace announces the matter officially,” he wrote briefly on Facebook.
The new Chief Minister of Selangor is expected to be sworn in on Tuesday at the Balairong Seri, Istana Alam Shah, Klang, at 10 in the morning.
This was confirmed by the Palace secretary and also acknowledged by the Sultan of Selangor’s Private Secretary, Datuk Mohamad Munir Bani.
It is understood that the invitation card for the Swearing-in Ceremony has been distributed to state leaders, elected representatives and dignitaries.
