SHAH ALAM, 22 Sept: The Assemblyman for Bukit Antarabangsa, Azmin Ali, will be the new Chief Minister of Selangor after the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, consented to appoint him for the position.
This was conveyed through a letter from the Office of the Sultan of Selangor to Azmin Ali.
“In relation to this, Sir, you are requested to attend the swearing-in ceremony which will be held on September 23, at 10.30am at the Istana Alam Shah, Klang,” the letter read.
It was signed by the Sultan’s Private Secretary, Datuk Mohamad Munir Bani.
