Azmin continues Abdul Khalid’s pro-people policy

KLANG, 23 Sept: The Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali, said that Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim managed to leave a good foundation in the State Government administration.

Thus, Mohamed Azmin said that it is his responsibility as the new Chief Minister to continue policies and programmes established by Abdul Khalid for the interests of the people.

“I was directly involved during Tan Sri Khalid’s administration and he has laid a good foundation in administering a state government.

“Of course it is my responsibility to continue these policies for the people and place emphasis on the issue of fair administration and ensure that the state government is clean and responsible for taking care of the people of Selangor,” said Mohamed Azmin.

Mohamed Azmin said this in a press conference after being sworn in as the new Chief Minister of Selangor here at the Balai Tengah Istana Alam Shah today.

However, he will review all agreements and decisions that was made by the previous administration, including the water agreement and the position of the Selangor Economic Advisor’s Office.

Azmin said that he will also ensure the continuity of development in the country’s richest state in addition to curbing the increasing crime rate in the state.
