Sultan reprimands, CM receives with open heart

KLANG, 26 Sept: The Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali, said that he receives the decree of the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah, with an open heart on the Chief Minister crisis.

He said that the Sultan’s decree should be seen as an advice for the benefit of all parties.

“HRH gave advice for all Assemblymen to focus on their work and maintain harmony,” he said.

Azmin said this to reporters after the swearing in ceremony of the 10 State Government Executive Council members in front of the Sultan of Selangor here at Istana Alam Shah today.

The Sultan of Selangor, in his decree at the ceremony, said that the political crisis was caused by the ‘Kajang Move’ which wanted to get rid of Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim from the post of Chief Minister.

In the meantime, the PKR de facto leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, during a press conference at the PKR Headquarters did not want to comment on the issue.

“I do not want to comment further out of respect of the Chief Minister who is here with me,” said Anwar.
