BUKIT ANTARABANGSA, 3 Oct: The Selangor government will use every cent in the Malaysian Road Records Information System (MARRIS) to maintain the roads in the state.

He said that therefore, the allocation will be utilised as best possible.

“We want to solve this and the garbage problem in my first three months as Chief Minister.

“I have asked all Local Authorities to also solve the garbage issue in every area.

“It does not only involve solid waste, but also bulk waste,” he said during the prayers in conjunction with his appointment as the Chief Minister here at the Bukit Antarabangsa Mosque last night.

Azmin also promised to provide adequate provisions for the use of Local Authorities that are less fortunate.

“I know of less fortunate local authorities, so write a letter to me and I will approve as soon as possible,” he said.
