BES programmes intensified and more active in attracting the participation of youth

SEPNG, 8 Nov: The Belia Ehsan Selangor (BES) programme will be increased and more specific across Selangor next year, with the participation of more young people and youth from this state.

The Exco for Young Generation, Sports, Culture and Entrepreneur Development, Amirudin Shari, said that the success of such programmes conducted throughout this year involved the Local Youth Movement (PeBT) in Selangor.

“We have organised all PeBTs and it is part of the programmes planned for this year. It is a good mix of parties such as villages, parishes, community service centres and so on.

“Next year we will formulate more specific programmes. If we are talking about sports programmes, we will increase popular sports in the community. Similarly, other programmes such as culture, arts and so on” he told Selangor Kini.

He said this after launching the Mukim Labu Family Day, Sepang Municipal Council (MPSp) Walkathon Desa PeBT and the Youth Marriage Incentive Presentation ceremony for the district of Sepang.

When speaking, Amirudin said that the younger generation should be prepared to face all challenges with an open mind through the process of current development and progress.

“Along with development and progress, new challenges will arise. Challenges that we may not have faced 10, 30 years ago.

“We should be prepared through various details along with principles and ideals,” he said.
