SHAH ALAM, 14 Nov: The Shah Alam On Wheels (SAOW) mobile office will operate in the car park of the AEON BIG supermarket in Section 32 tomorrow (15 Nov).
The Shah Alam City Council Deputy Corporate Director, Shahrin Ahmad, hoped that the public will not miss the opportunity to carry out their dealings.
He said that the operation hours for the SAOW will begin at 11am and end at 5pm.
“This mobile office provides outside-office services as a commitment and initiative by the Council to increase the delivery system.
“We will provide 18 types of services that are appropriate to facilitate the residents of Shah Alam to make any reference, checking and payment available,” he said in a statement.
Previously, SAOW stopped at the Giant Supermarket in Section13 Plaza Shah Alam in Section 9 and the latest, in front of the Jakel warehouse in Section 7.
Shahrin said that SAWO was created to strengthen the delivery system so that the latest information on MBSA’s services can be delivered effectively.
“This operation is one of MBSA’s ways to extend more field activities to provide the public a chance to deal directly.
“Through this service, the Council hopes to strengthen the MBSA service system for the benefit of society,” he added.
Among the services provided by the SAOW is checking and printing bills and assessment tax statements, updating owner information for the assessment tax, online payment of assessment tax, renewal and checking business licences, making complaints, parking coupon sales and so on.
