DNS Opposition Leader wants Anwar to let go of the Economic Advisor post

SHAH ALAM, 4 Dec: The Selangor State Assembly (DNS) Opposition Leader, Datuk Mohd Shamsudin Lias, wants the PKR de facto leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, to let go of the Selangor Economic Advisor post after losing the award from the Selangor Palace.

He said that the withdrawal of the ‘Datuk Seri’ title which was awarded creates the question of Anwar’s integrity.

“I personally agree with the move by the Palace because the behavior of the Selangor Economic Advisor created a turmoil and crisis in Selangor,” he said.

He said this during a media conference at the Opposition Leader’s Room at the Annex Building today.

Shamsudin said that the Selangor Chief Minister turmoil was due to intervention by the Permatang Pauh Member of Parliament.

“He caused the By-election in Kajang which wasted public funds and them caused the Chief Minister turmoil which led to Abdul Khalid losing his position.

“He proposed for his wife (Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail) for the Chief Minister post which is also contrary to State Constitution laws which caused chaos and eventually, some issues in Selangor were neglected,” he said.
