From Kelantan, CM hurried to continue delivering flood relief in Klang

KLANG, 27 Dec: The Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali, visited the flood victims and delivered aid to two flood evacuation centres in the state as soon as he returned from delivering assistance to the Kelantan government.

Two flood evacuation centres were opened in Selangor at the Sekolah Kebangsaan Sungai Binjai, Meru, which housed 47 victims, and Sekolah Kebangsaan Abdul Samad, Kapar (38).

Also present was the Welfare Exco and Sementa Assemblyman, Dr Daroyah Alwi, Mohamed Azmin’s Political Secretary, Shuhaimi Shafiei, and the Meru Assemblyman, Dr Abdul Rani Osman.

4.2

In a previous incident, the water level was at 0.6 metres and resulted in the overflowing of drains in the area due to heavy rains since yesterday.

Meanwhile, 15 households were involved in the same incident, but no evacuation centres have been opened as the situation is still under control in Jalan Datuk Hamid.
