KUALA LUMPUR, 30 Dec : Strong winds and rough seas at the third category at the waters of Kelantan, Terengganu, Pahang, East Johor, Sarawak, Dabah (interiors, West Coast, Kudat) and well as the Federal Territory of Labuan expected to continue until tomorrow.
The Meteorological Department today said that strong Northeast winds at a speed of 60 kilometres an hour (km/h) and waves up to 4.5 metres are dangerous for all beach and shipping activities, including workers on oil rigs.
Bernama said that the coastal areas of Terengganu, Pahang and East Johor are also vulnerable to rising sea levels until tomorrow.
The Meteorological Department also informed that strong winds and rough seas of the third category at the waters of Samui, Tioman, Condore, Bunguran, Reef North, Layang-Layang, Reef South, Labuan and Palawan are also expected to continue until tomorrow.
