SHAH ALAM, 30 Dec: The debris found in the Karimata Strait this morning was confirmed as belonging to the QZ8501 Indonesia Air Asia aircraft.
This was confirmed by the Director General of Civil Aviation Indonesia, Djoko Murjatmodjo, a little while ago.
“At the moment, it can be confirmed that the debris is the Indonesia Air Asia aircraft and the Transport Minister will depart for Pangkalan Bun soon,” he said, taken from Berita Harian Online.
