100 DAYS: CM emphasises health, education & people’s housing

SHAH ALAM, 31 Dec: In conjunction with the 100th day as the Chief Minister of Selangor, Mohamed Azmin today reiterated his determination in ensuring that the state administration is transparent, accountable and inclusive in all its actions.

In a statement, he also assured the high commitment of the Selangor government in ensuring that the economy continues to grow rapidly with social justice and the people’s welfare given priority.

His administration, stressed Mohamed Azmin, will focus on health, housing and education.

“The principles of fairness and moderation will also be the Selangor government’s approach in leading the community of various races and religions.

“As the Chief Minister of Selangor, I must emphasise that in maintaining the sovereignty and sanctity of Islam, as the official religion, extreme and fanatical sentiments will not be entertained in the administration.

7.2

“The harmony and unity of all communities cannot be compromised and we will do our best to ensure that the principles of fairness and moderation will be carried out every time,” he said.

Mohamed Azmin was sworn in to the highest position of the state on September 23 in front of the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
