CM: “Anwar said Selangor needs to advance forward”

SUBANG JAYA, 11 Feb: The request from the PKR de facto leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, for Selangor to advance forward will be held on to in the administration of the state.

The Chief Minister, Mohamed Azmin Ali, said that he will continue to ensure that the delivery system and the quality of work is done as best possible to achieve positive progress.

“We must move forward because that was Anwar’s request two days before (he was imprisoned); for Selangor to advance and ensure that the delivery system and our work continues.

“Today, it is proven how foreign investors are immediately interested to invest in Selangor and it shows rather positive progress,” he said.

He said after witnessing the Agreement Signing Ceremony Between Antara Perspektif Masa Sdn. Bhd. & China Railway Engineering Sdn. Bhd. and the Loan Agreement Signing Ceremony between MBSB & CREC at the Grand Dorsett Hotel today.

Mohamed Azmin said that Anwar also gave a message to leaders and members of PKR to continue the struggle and to fight against the tyranny against him.

“It actually gives encouragement and stimulus to the leaders that if he (Anwar) is willing to go to jail, then certainly those of us on the outside should play a greater role in continuing the fight.

“In fact this was agreed by all parties and last night we held an emergency PKR meeting to examine some steps that will be taken,” said the PKR Deputy President.
