51 Selangor STPM candidates obtain 4.00 CGPA

SHAH ALAM, 2 Mar: A total of 51 Malaysian Higher School Certificate (STPM) candidates in Selangor obtained a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.00.

The Deputy Director of Selangor Education, Mohd Salleh Mohd Kassim, said that the number went down compared to 65 candidates who obtained the same results in 2013.

He said in 2014, 72 schools registered candidates for STPM with 30 schools achieving full passes.

“The performance of schools that received full passes in 2014 increased compared to only 27 schools in 2013.

“2014 STPM candidates showed an improvement in performance based on the quantity of schools that received passes and the schools’ average grade,” he said, taken from BH Online.
