CM: Pakatan helped in the success of Sarawak government’s pro-people policies

KUCHING, 3 Mar: The new leadership policy of the Sarawak Chief Minister, Tan Sri Adenan Satem, of wanting to bring about transparent and accountable management, including stopping illegal logging in Sarawak, can lead to the success of pro-people policies.

The Chief Minister of Selangor, Mohamed Azmin Ali, said that he will look into the role that can be played by Sarawak assemblymen from PKR to help support this sincere desire.

“I am touched and impressed by Adenan’s statement saying the opposition in Sarawak are not enemies, but friends in the administration of the Sarawak government.

“The renewal of Sarawak’s leadership is welcomed by PKR and Sarawak PKR assemblymen who are always ready to cooperate in achieving this outcome,” said Mohamed Azmin who is also the Deputy President of PKR.

He said this during the courtesy visit to the office of the Chief Minister of Sarawak, Tan Sri Datuk Adenan Satem, today.

Also in the delegation is Selangor Exco Dr Daroyah Alwi, Amirudin Shari, Selangor Chief Minister’s Political Secretary, Shuhaimi Shafie, and accompanied by the State Leadership Council (MPN) Deputy Chairperson, Abang Zulkifli Abang Engkeh.

Mohamed Azmin expressed his appreciation and thanks to Adenan for receiving the Selangor delegation.

“This is my first official visit as the Chief Minister and coincidentally, this visit is taking place during the first anniversary celebration of Adenan’s leadership as the Chief Minister of Sarawak,” he said.
