Poor response for seasonal pass, where are the hardcore supporters of the Red Giants?

SHAH ALAM, 6 Mar: Despite great demand of seasonal passes to be issued, it is now receiving poor response from hardcore supporters of the Red Giants.

The Selangor Team Manager, Amirudin Shari, said that they are always striving to meet the needs of supporters and hopes that it will be well received.

“There still a lot (seasonal passes). Less than half have been sold,” he said, referring to the early report on the seasonal pass sales received by him.

“I call on all loyal fans of the Red Giants to get this seasonal passes,” he told Selangor Kini.

Prior to this, the Football Association of Selangor (FAS) offered 1,200 seasonal tickets for the first phase at RM250 involving 11 Super League 2015 matches involving Selangor as the host at the Shah Alam Stadium.

However, sales on February 21 at Quadrant B, main entrance of the Shah Alam Stadium, received poor response with only around 250 tickets sold.

The sales counter was then transferred to the Section 7 Sports and Culture Complex, Shah Alam, for two weeks beginning February 23 and will end on March 7 (tomorrow).

“Maybe many are still not sure, but FAS has worked hard to meet the demands of the Red Giants fans,” he said.

Among the benefits holders of the season tickets have are car parks and special entrance to the stadium on match days.

Also there are souvenirs such as t-shirts and scarfs, and 20 percent discount on all Kappa brand sporting goods is also given.
