PKNS allocates RM2 million for CSR programmes

SHAH ALAM, 26 Mar: RM2 million has been allocated by the Selangor State Development Corporation (PKNS) for the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes this year.

Its General Manager, Azlan Md Alifiah, said that apart from this allocation, they will also distribute money from the corporation’s business Zakat amounting to RM1.69 million for the same purpose.

He said this when speaking at the Loudspeaker System Contribution Presentation Ceremony for religious schools in Selangor at the Selangor Tahfiz Integrated Institute in Klang.

A total of 99 religious schools selected by the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS) received a complete set of loudspeakers with a total value of RM243,723.68.

“PKNS also sees this contribution as returning PKNS profits to the people, in addition to the added value to existing facilities,” he said, taken from Bernama.
