“For PKR, we would like to thank all central and state PAS leaders on their continuous effort to help in this issue,” he said during a press conference at Yayasan Aman.

Also present was the PKR President, who is also the Permatang Pauh PR candidate, Datuk Seri Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, and the Central PAS Election Director, Dr Hatta Ramli.

In relation to that, Saifuddin wants PR to double efforts to focus on the people’s problems.

“Currently, we are focusing our full attention on the goods and services tax (GST) that is pressuring the people.

“I also want to challenge the Prime Minister to visit Permatang Pauh to explain the advantages of the GST, do not send Ahmad Maslan,” he said.

Meanwhile, Hatta said that the PAS machinery is moving at a rate of 100 percent for the campaign this time.

“We have a local machinery and from other states. All arising problems have been solved and they will fill up the existing space,” he said.

He is confident that PAS will provide the best assistance possible to the PR candidate.

“So, we consider that this episode has ended and will continue work as mandated,” he said.
