TNB will end SYABAS bill payment service from June 1

SHAH ALAM, 29 Apr: The Syabas water bill payment facility at Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB), including its appointed agents, will no longer be available starting from June 1.

The Executive Director of the Syabas Corporate Affairs Department, Priscilla Alfred, said this decision was made following a meeting held between SYABAS and TNB.

“In line with that, on the same date (June 1) TNB electric bill payments will also not be accepted at all of SYABAS One Stop Counter Service (OSCS).

“However, all other water bill payment channels will continue providing service to Syabas consumers,” she said in a press statement today.

Water bill payments, either in cash or through cheque, can be made at all OSCS and official collection agencies such as banks, ATM machines or internet banking.

Therefore, for consumers who choose to pay their water bills at the OSCS, the operation hours start from 9 am to 4.30 pm (Monday to Friday).

Therefore, consumers are advised to pay water bills according to the date set to prevent any inconvenience.
