PETALING JAYA, 10 May: The organisation of the Selangor Cyber Games is seen as the best place for fans of e-sports in Malaysia to participate professionally.
A team member of Insidious Gaming Malaysia, Seth Marcus Roth, 19, said that the competition also gives them the opportunity to compete with international players.
“Yet there is still room for organisers to focus on in the future.
“It feels like the space provided needs to be wider to provide comfort to participants,” he told Selangor Kini.
He was among thousands of participants who participated in the Selangor Cyber Games 2015 which took place at the E-Strand Mall since yesterday, and ended today.
Meanwhile, a participant from South Korea, Seung Gon Lee, 28, hopes that there will be more professional players participating in the future for more comprehensive games.
“This time, even though there were many ‘old-timers’, but we believe we have a chance to win,” said the participant of MVP Hot6ix.
The player who is better known as ‘Heen” is among the e-sports personalities who often wins, especially in Dota.
