“Yesterday, I received a short message on the meeting with the minister in the next few days.

“I have prepared the arguments to be discussed with the Minister early next week and we hope that this discussion will lead to a solution,” said Mohamed Azmin.

He said this to reporters after launching the “Khalifah Umar Abdul Aziz” book by Dr Ali Muhammad As-Shallabi at the Concorde Hotel today.

When touching on the construction of the Langat 2 Project, Mohamed Azmin said that the state government will continue to provide support towards the project.

“We agreed in principle that we should support the construction of Langat 2, as I previously said before the application was reviewed by the local authority and they need to meet the requirements set by the local authority and we will approve it.

“There is no problem because we need Langat 2 and we hope that it will be completed according to schedule,” added Mohamed Azmin.

Prior to this, the water restructuring agreement expired after KeTTHA violated the terms of the agreement by requesting a postponement for the third time.
