Azmin: Pandikar confirmed meeting with Tun M, wait and see

KUALA LUMPUR, 18 May: Although Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia did not resign as the Speaker of the Dewan Rakyat, his meeting with the former Prime Minister, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, clearly proved political discussions regarding the position of the Prime Minister.

The PKR Deputy President, Mohamed Azmin Ali, said that hence, the people would certainly be waiting for Barisan Nasional’s move to resolve the political crisis affecting the country’s number one seat.

“It is finished, Tan Sri Pandikar has made a decision and issued a statement, it ends there.

“However, you must remember, Tan Sri Pandikar confirmed the meeting with Tun Dr Mahathir and held political discussions. More than that, we will have to wait and see,” said Mohamed Azmin, who is also the Chief Minister of Selangor, to reporters at the Parliament House lobby today.

Prior to this, there was speculation that Pandikar Amin resigned after taking into consideration the views of Tun Dr Mahathir, however he has denied this allegation.
