Towing operations to prevent traffic congestion

SHAH ALAM, 11 Aug: The Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) is performing vehicle towing operations to overcome traffic congestion.

The Deputy Director of the Corporate and Community Development Department, Shahrin Ahmad, said that vehicles parked at the shoulders of the road cause traffic flow to be disrupted in the Section 31 commercial centre in Kota Kemuning.

“The towing operations have begun as early as August, from eight in the morning to 10 at night.

“It aims to provide awareness and education to road users to place their vehicles at spaces provided by MBSA,” he said.

Shahrin said that towed vehicles will be compounded RM270 for normal vehicles and RM350 for SUVs.

Owners of vehicles that have been towed can claim their vehicles at the Kota Kemuning MBSA Branch Office in Section 31, Shah Alam.
