BENTONG, 16 Aug: PKR members and leaders, including Pakatan Rakyat (PR) were reminded to not be divided and continue to unite to overthrow the Barisan Nasional (BN) administration.
The PKR President, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, said that the wave that wasbuilt in 1998 is on the rise and must continue to be fought for.
“If we are divided, what will happen to the future of the country because the people choose us in the form of an alliance, which is Pakatan.
“We must be strong and firm because (Datuk Seri) Anwar Ibrahim is paying for this fight in prison,” she said during the President’s Mandate Tour at the Chinese Assembly Hall yesterday.
She also recalled Anwar’s struggle and contribution to the country which was not appreciated.
“Many from the younger generation today do not know who Anwar is; they only know the bad things.
“But everyone knows that Anwar has done a lot, therefore I will never give up on freeing him and saving Malaysia,” she said.
