Khusrin: No dress code in SUK

SHAH ALAM, Jun 22: State Secretary of Selangor, Datuk Mohammed Khusrin Munawi, denied that a dress code was being imposed in the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah building.

The explanation was given after two reporters claimed they were ordered to wear sarongs on the grounds that their attire was too casual, as disclosed by Klang MP, Charles Santiago.

“We have no dress code in SUK. Not at all,” he said briefly to the media in Istana Kayangan today.

Through his Facebook page, Charles Santiago questioned the role of the security officer who ordered the two reporters to don sarongs on the grounds that their attire was overly casual.

He also brought up the question on why the policy was implemented at state government buildings because the JPJ itself that was involved in the same case previously had already apologised.
