KUALA SELANGOR, 7 Sept: The state government and the Federal government managed to finalise the restructuring of the water industry in Selangor with an agreement that will be agreed upon tomorrow through Aset Air Berhad (PAAB) and Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor).
The Exco for Infrastructure, Public Amenities, Agricultural Modernisation and Agro-Based Industries, Zaidy Abdul Talib, said that the state government hopes that the cooperation can continue without any problems in the future.
“PAAB is also satisfied and thanks the state government for the cooperation and smooth running to complete the agreement that was expressed previously.
“The previous agreement rate of 45 years was agreed and now is in the implementation stage, the use and proper process will be finalised tomorrow,” he said.
He said this in response to the transfer of Selangor water assets between PAAB and Air Selangor which will be held tomorrow at the Shah Alam Convention Centre in Shah Alam.
