BATU CAVES, 17 Sept: PKR members have been reminded to not waver and remain focus in overthrowing Barisan Nasional (BN) which has been facing crisis in terms of leadership and the people’s trust, said PKR President, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.
She said that the people are counting on Pakatan Rakyat (PR) to bring about change based on the current situation, and in fact losing the Deputy Public Prosecutor, Kevin Anthony Morais, who was finally found dead shows fear in terms of security.
“It is shocking (Kevin’s death) and has cause worry to the people.BN cannot be counted on anymore, so let us not be divided when we see BN faltering.
“The people will not give their vote and support if they do not believe that we can take over the reins of the administration,” she said when opening the Gombak Branch PKR Annual General Meeting 2015 on September 16, 2015.
At the same time, Wan Azizah also explained that the meeting with PAS is to discuss several matters mutually agreed upon recently.
“We are together on the issue of the vote of no confidence and as an opposition block. I will meet with DAP representatives in the near future to discuss the direction of Pakatan Rakyat as done with PAS and Amanah.
