Unite in rejecting corrupt leaders

KLANG, 21 Sept: Malaysians, regardless of race and religion, must be united to reject leaders who are ruining the country.

The PKR Vice_President, Dr Xavier Jeyakumar, said that the country is not only exposed to racial, economic and social problems, but chaos may also be triggered if these leaders remain in power.

“Regardless of whether they are Chinese, Indian, Malay or indigenous people, Malaysia is our country.

“Do not let us be used for the sake of protecting corrupt leaders because we live and die here,” he said.

Dr Xavier said this during the opening of the Kota Raja Branch (MATC) Annual General Meeting at the Taman Klang Jaya Multipurpose Hall today.

He also reminded the people not to be deceived by irresponsible leaders who often use the reason of local governments.

“We took to the streets to correct this situation, but we cannot be made frightful about a race or to threaten,” he said.
