SHAH ALAM, 23 Sept: Over 22,000 Malaysian Haj pilgrims arrived in Arafah at 12 am to carry out the Wukuf (grand assembly) starting today, 9 Zulhijjah.
The pilgrims are housed in 2,000 tents at the campsite for Malaysian pilgrims after six trips.
They will Wukuf in Arafah and it is the culmination of the pilgrimage and for the entire practice.
According to the official Tabung Haji (TH) website, 489 pilgrims took off safely for the Holy land on September 20.
It is the last flight of the KT69 Malaysian Haji Pilgrimage group that will perform the Haj this year.
