KUALA LUMPUR, 8 June: PKR is confident that the relationship between PAS and DAP can be resolved through meetings arranged by Pakatan Rakyat (PR) in the near future.
The PKR Parliament Whip Chief, Datuk Johari Abdul, said that these talks are expected to unravel all problems at this time between the two parties.
“The PKR President, Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail explained that there would be a meeting in the near future with the leaders of PAS and DAP to hear their views.
“I think that it can be resolved, the problem is different perceptions.We are not sure of what is being said and what is meant,” he said at the Parliament lobby today.
Johari said that the meeting is expected to be held after Wan Azizah returns from her working visit to Sabah.
He said that PAS should provide clarification on the meaning of ‘not cooperating with DAP but still remaining in PR’.
“These issues need clarification and it is expected to be able to clear up the situation so that the people can better understand what the PAS leader meant,” he said.
