SHAH ALAM, 26 Sept: Several areas in Petaling and Kuala Lumpur will experience temporary water disruption due to the upgrading of the water supply system from September 29 to October 1, starting at 8 am.
The Selangor Water Supply Company (SYABAS) Corporate Affairs Division Executive Director, Priscilla Alfred, said that the disruption is due to the replacement of the inlet valve at the Bukit Gasing suction tank and the by-pass valve at the Bukit Gasing pump house.
Among the areas that will experience disruption are as follows:
“Those in affected areas are advised to make preparations by storing sufficient water and use water sparingly throughout this period,” said Priscilla in a statement.
