SHAH ALAM, 28 Sept: The organiser of the Red Shirt rally, Datuk Jamal Mohd Yunos, is just looking for excuses to get publicity that he threatened to act against the media which he claimed led to his arrest.
The PKR Vice President, Tian Chua, said that there is no basis for him to do so, however it is up to him if he wants to take action.
“I see him as just a ‘victim’ as the middle-man for the political arena.
“There is no need to take action against the media, but it is up to him (if he wants to take action),” he told Selangor Kini.
Jamal, on September 25, was arrested by the police to help in investigations under the Sedition Act related to the ‘United People’s Assembly’ that took place on September 16.
He previously insisted that he was deployed to be a middle-man at Jalan Petaling and claimed that the alternative media did not report his statement in full on September 23.
