Dr Daroyah said that the provisions for the Selangor Health Assistance will also be given a priority as it involves dialysis, minor surgeries, cataract and prosthetics.

“Prior to this, the provision was RM500,000. We expect it to increase in line with the state government’s hope to continue to help the less fortunate people,” she said.

She said that provisions will continue to be channeled to the Women’s Empowerment Centre (PWB) for women’s affairs.

“In 2015, we had a provision of RM2.81 million and it will be continued for the whole state in programmes to enhance women’s skills,” she said.
