KOTA BHARU, 8 Oct: The Selangor Menteri Besar Incorporated (MBI) is committed to helping the people of Kelantan who require support in a variety of situations encountered.
The Head of MBI’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Mohd Jaafarudin Md Ali, said that this is the Selangor government’s effort in prioritising the people to defend the target group through humanitarian missions.
“We want to extend assistance through the revenue obtained by the Selangor government for the benefit of people who need to be helped and defended, not only due to the flood but also in other situations.
“The profit enjoyed is meaningless if not shared, it is a test for us, not just in difficult times but at comfortable times,” he said.
Cooperation and friendly relations between Selangor and Kelantan facilitates the humanitarian mission mobilised by MBI to the state.
MBI’s efforts also received the attention of the Kelantan State Financial Deputy Officer, Mohammad Yusoff Hassan, said that it reflects the seriousness in the effort to overcome problems faced by the people.
“What is important and a priority is the welfare of the people in the state. It is a good move by the Selangor government,” he said.
He hopes that the good relations between the two state governments for mutual benefit.
