SHAH ALAM, 2 Sept: The Bukit Antarabangsa Women’s Empowerment Centre (PWB) invites the public, especially women, to participate in the programme to sew recyclable bags.
The programme is aimed at increasing the level of awareness on recycling activities, in addition to instilling love for the environment among the people.
It will be held at the Sri Tanjung Hall, Kampung Melayu, Ampang, from 9 am to 1 pm on September 6.
“Creative recycling ideas show creativity in using waste that is recycled into something else in terms of looks and function.
“Participation in this programme is open to a minimum of 20 participants, however so far, we have received over 30 people. This shows that it is well received,” according to the PWB Facebook page.
