RM100 thousand for Al-Ansar Mosque infrastructure development

HULU KELANG, 5 Sept: The Al-Ansar Mosque, Taman Keramat, received a contribution of RM100 thousand from the state government for infrastructure improvements and the Imam’s house yesterday.

The Chief Minster, Mohamed Azmin Ali, said that the state government intends to look at the mosque and surau institution in Selangor continue to be upheld, not only in terms of facility development, but also activities to enliven the institution.

“The state government hopes that this assistance will be of great benefit for Muslims and parishioners.

“The committee has also been urged to play its role more effectively to encourage people to enliven the mosque,” he said.

He said this at the presentation ceremony and Friday prayers at the mosque.

At the same time, Mohamed Azmin said that the state government is optimistic in focusing on human capital development among students of Islamic and religious schools.

He said that various forms of development are being formulated and it will be implemented by next year.

“Given the harsh economic conditions, I have met with the treasury officers to draw up spending wisely with solid savings.

“It is to focus on human capital development at Islamic and religious schools.

“The state government plans to build new religious schools and hostels that are more comfortable in several districts, in addition to redeveloping suraus and traditional village mosques,” he said.
