Do not stop looking for the cause of the MH370 crash

SHAH ALAM, 6 Aug: The government should investigate and find the real cause of the MH370 tragedy despite the recovery of the plane’s wing.

PKR Stretegy Director, Sim Tze Tzin, said that this is because many questions were raised when the Malaysian defense radar could not detect the aircraft when it turned back.

“I urge the government to continue to find the cause of the crash. We cannot stop looking for the cause,” he told Selangor Kini.

Tze Tzin said that the mysterious tragedy of the plane that when missing a year ago should be learned by everyone, thus enhancing Malaysian’s aviation sector security.

“Learn from this tragedy, the government should increase the level of aviation security. All plans should be installed with GPS technology that can detect the precise location.

“The government must also ensure that the military radar system is functioning well. The Royal Malaysian Air Force also did not respond quickly when there were problems on the plane,” he said.

In relation to that, he said that the government should investigate transparently and professionally without hiding any secrets from the people.

“I feel sorry for the MH370 victims. I offer my condolences to the families of the victims and hopes that the government is transparent in the investigation of this tragedy,” he said.

At 2 am, the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Razak, confirmed that wing fragments that were found on Reunion Island are part of the MH370 aircraft.

“Today, 515 days since the aircraft went missing, with a heavy heart I inform that international expert teams finally confirmed that the debris found on Reunion Island is from MH370,” he said.

The MH370 MAS flight carrying 227 passengers and 12 crew members disappeared from radar screens during its flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing in March 8, 2014.

The plane was supposed to arrive in Beijing at 6.30 am the same day.
