“RM4 million was allocated for the construction of community sports centres in Section 19, Shah Alam Stadium while the Paya Jaras Mini Stadium construction project is allocated RM3 million.

“With the construction of sports facilities, the MBSA hopes that more sports activities will be organised in addition to preventing the young generation from falling prey to negative influences,” he said.

In addition, he said that there are several other projects that will be implemented by MBSA, including the design and construction of a banquet hall in Section 13 and water quality improvement works in Shah Alam Lake Gardens.

“MBSA is also making efforts to build stalls in several areas including Section 20 and Section U10 and to build a modern six-storey business complex in Paya Jaras,” he said.
