CM: Committed to Develop Business and Industrial Community

SHAH ALAM, June 28: The Selangor State Government is committed to strive to improve business and industrial development in the state so as to continue to stimulate economic development.

Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim said for the state to advance towards increased prosperity, attention should be given to the business and industrial community so that they can carry out their economic activities that will produce profit.

He said that the success of the state depends on the progress generated by the business and industrial communities in the state.

Thus, the State Government seeks to enhance cooperation and quality of service in order to attract more foreign investment through the implementation of various incentives and initiatives.

Abdul Khalid said this during the 2013 Manufacturers’ Association of Selangor Dinner Function here at the Concorde Hotel yesterday.

He also touched on the importance of developing quality human resources and the importance of implementing innovation.

He said that the development of quality brands can also boost the image of products produces so that it can be marketed abroad.

He said that the business and industrial community should also be prepared for global challenges, particularly the economic conditions in China and Europe which is seen to be headed to ultimate gloom.

He suggested for them to be brave to explore the halal product market which has huge potential.
