KLANG, 26 Jan: The Selangor Government hopes that good the good relationship between the people and leaders of the state should be increased from time to time so that the good cooperation will benefit the state’s progress.
The Chief Minister, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid Ibrahim, said that the people will only give credence to a government of the government manages to fulfil its promises.
“In March, we will go down to the ground to show the people that the third Klang Bridge is not just a dream, and that it will be a reality.
“We (Pakatan Rakyat Government) are a team that fulfils promises, and not one that merely makes promises,” said Abdul Khalid.
He said this during the Selangor State Ponggal Tamilar Thirunal Festival which was held at the grounds of Padang Chetty in Klang.
About 2,000 people attended the programme, which was also attended by the Klang Member of Parliament, Charles Santiago, the Member of Parliament for Kapar, M Manivanan and the State Executive Councillor, V Ganabatirau.
