Abdul Khalid: The People are Vital to the Survival of the Administration of Selangor

KAJANG, 4 Feb: The Chief Minister of Selangor, Tan Sri Abdul Khalid, stressed that his priority is the people in ensuring that that state revenue can be shared.

Abdul Khalid said that the Kajang State Legislative Assembly (DUN) candidate, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, is a special individual who constantly monitors progress in the Merakyatkan Ekonomi Selangor (MES) programme.

“We do not want the people to be left behind and we want them to continue to receive benefits. Of course our first shoice is (Datuk Seri) Anwar Ibrahim.

“MES is also close to Anwar’s heart,” he said at the launch of the Kajang DUN Machinery in front of about 350 supporters at the Taman Mesra Public Hall yesterday.

Also present was the Deputy President of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), Azmin Ali; the Wanita PKR Chief, Zuraida Kamaruddin; Selangor Executive Councillor, Rodziah Ismail; the PKR Youth (AMK) Chief, Shamsul Iskandar Md Akin and the Selangor State Assembly (DNS) Deputy Speaker, Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad.

Abdul Khalid who is also the Kajang DUN Elections Director, said that the state leaders need to work hard to find financial resources to help the people.

“I promise to work hard. We will have a new team to let Malaysia continue to thrive under Pakatan Rakyat,” he said.
